From the Field — 2024–2025
Every card is a person.
Every number has a name.
The wall below is how we keep score — not in budgets, but in moments.

"I carry 14 kilograms of vaccines on my back through the highlands every Tuesday. What I carry home is lighter — the weight of knowing."
Amara Bekele
Community Health Worker
12,400
Cataract Surgeries
Sight restored across 9 countries since 2018

"My daughter Sofía was four years old. She could not eat. She could not speak clearly. After the surgery, her first full sentence was my name."
Diego Hernández
Father
"I spent 30 years in an operating theater. The most important surgery I ever scrubbed into was in a canvas tent in northern Mali with a generator and a headlamp."

"Every impact report I file references Remedy. Not because it's easy to measure — but because the numbers come with names."
James Okonkwo
CSR Director · Lagos / London diaspora

"I track vaccine temperatures from a satellite phone. Last week, I rerouted a shipment around a washed-out bridge at 2 a.m. Every degree matters."

Maternal Consultations
In 2024 alone — and zero preventable maternal deaths in our catchment areas
One patient. One village. One country. Thirty-one countries where Remedy has deployed since 2009. The map keeps growing.
Fund the Next MissionSystemic Impact — Since 2009
From one patient
to one continent.
The numbers below are not projections. They are the count of people who received care they could not otherwise have reached. Each one is a name in a field register.
Countries Reached
From the Andes to the highlands of East Africa and the river deltas of Southeast Asia.
Patients Treated
Surgical cases, maternal consultations, and emergency interventions since 2009.
Mobile Clinics Active
Each unit covers a 120km radius. Each deployment reaches villages with no road access.
Local Staff Trained
Community health workers, midwives, and surgical assistants who remain after we leave.
31
Countries
Every number above grew because someone made a decision to fund a mission they would never personally witness.
Fund the Next MissionHow We Work
Three ways we reach
the unreachable.
We don't build hospitals. We send people. Surgical teams, mobile pharmacies, and maternal health workers who embed in communities for weeks at a time — and train locals to hold the knowledge when we leave.
60–80
cases per deployment
We bring the operating room to the patient.
Our mobile surgical units — each staffed by a surgeon, anesthesiologist, and two nurses — deploy into regions where the nearest hospital is a multi-day journey. We perform cataract restoration, cleft palate repair, hernia surgery, and emergency obstetric procedures.
Each team carries a full sterile field in two Land Cruisers. Setup time: 4 hours. Average cases per deployment: 60–80 over 5 days.

99.2%
cold-chain integrity
Cold-chain vaccines and essential medicines, delivered.
Our pharmacy vehicles maintain WHO-standard cold-chain conditions across unpaved roads and seasonal floods. Each unit carries a 90-day formulary for a population of 5,000.
Solar-powered refrigeration. Satellite temperature logging. 99.2% cold-chain integrity rate.

847
assisted deliveries, 2024
A midwife at every birth, not just the accessible ones.
We embed trained midwives and maternal health workers into highland and delta communities for 6-month rotations. They conduct prenatal care, attend deliveries, and train local women as birth companions.
Zero preventable maternal deaths in Remedy-covered catchment areas in 2024. 4,200 consultations. 847 assisted deliveries.
